If God doesn't miraculously part the seas for you, He will send a ship to take you across.

I've been wanting to write on this for a long time now but didn't know how to articulate myself on this topic till now.

Have you ever been in a situation whereby you pray earnestly for something with the expectation of it unfolding in a certain way and it didn't? It could be with healing for example.

Whilst I fully understand wanting a miraculous recovery from something, I also understand the importance of applying wisdom in the process.

God and wisdom are synonyms, which means that to act upon God's intelligence is to apply wisdom.

Wisdom in a situation could be doing what is most suitable at the moment to preserve life or health. It could be getting advice from a medical professional or seeking urgent care or even supplementing for defficiency.

Whatever the wisdom is at that moment, we ought to be humble enough to receive it and to trust that God in His infinite intelligence will direct us to make decisions that harmonize with healing.

Sometimes the ego unknowingly gets in the way because we want to give credit to the person who prayed for us or to the idea of God's healing that we've created in our mind. I've been on that road too many times 🙄 But in reality God really does not need our recognition to confirm His greatness because the universe already serves as evidence.

In essence, if we aren't having the Moses experience of lifting our hands and witnessing the seas parting into two then it's ok to take a ride across. If the objective is to get to dry land then we trust that infinite intelligence is guiding us to the shores safely in love.
